Dexterous BIM Solutions ("we", "us") is responsible for the enquiry and chat information collected through this website. This notice explains our current use of that information for visitors in India, the UAE and the UK. Applicable rights depend on your location and the law; this notice is not a certification of compliance with any country's data-protection requirements.

1. Data we collect

• Details you give us: name, email address and country when you start a chat or contact us.
• Chat transcripts: the questions you ask our AI assistant and its answers.
• Technical data strictly needed to run the site (e.g. browser storage for your chat session and cookie notice).

2. Why we use it

• To answer your Autodesk and BIM questions.
• To follow up on enquiries, quotes and training requests you make.
• To improve our services and keep the site secure.

Before chat starts, we ask for your consent to process your details and messages. We use them to provide the chat and respond to enquiries you make, not to enrol you in marketing. You may withdraw consent by contacting us; withdrawal does not affect processing already lawfully carried out. Other processing grounds apply only where permitted by the relevant law.

3. AI assistant

Chat messages are sent through Lovable's AI gateway to Anthropic's Claude model to generate replies, and the conversation is saved with your enquiry details in our hosted database. Anthropic is the AI provider; Autodesk does not operate this assistant. The assistant does not access your Autodesk account or retrieve live Autodesk support documentation.

AI providers may retain submitted messages under their applicable service terms; we do not promise zero retention, that messages are never used for model improvement, or storage in your home country. Do not send confidential client information, project models, passwords, licence keys or sensitive personal information. AI replies may be inaccurate and require independent review.

4. Cookies

We use only essential cookies and local/session storage required for the website and chat to function (remembering your cookie notice and your current chat session). We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.

5. Sharing

We do not sell your data. Our hosting, database and AI service providers process information needed to provide these services; disclosure may also be required by law. Processing may take place outside India, the UAE or the UK. Contact us for information about the providers and applicable transfer arrangements before submitting information if international processing is a concern. This notice alone does not establish that a particular international transfer meets every applicable legal requirement.

6. Retention

Chat and enquiry records remain stored until deleted; automatic deletion after a fixed period is not currently implemented. You can email us to request deletion or ask about retention before starting a chat. Copies processed by third-party providers are subject to their own retention terms and applicable law.

7. Your rights

You may contact us to request access, correction, deletion or a copy of your data, object to processing, or withdraw consent, subject to applicable law. You may also raise a complaint with the competent data-protection authority where available; UK visitors can contact the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO).
